After seeing the lighthouse, I went to the bar on the same 14th floor.
Perhaps because I can't drink as much as I used to. Sweet drinks seem preferable.

The tall cocktail glass is beautiful.
I take a sip. It smells sweet and refreshing. But I am aware that I am becoming less and less sensitive to alcohol.
I sipped slowly, one sip at a time, over a period of nearly half an hour.

As I was capturing the waning western sun with my camera, the bar kindly offered to move me to a seat with the best view.
This was after the two people who had been there earlier had left.
Along with the words 'take your pictures wherever you like'.

Again, many memories came back to me.
-The sound of helicopter rotors passing overhead.
-The smell of the bonfire.
-The pitch-dark town where everything was burnt down.
-People I haven't seen for years.
Some of them have already passed away, but they seem to live somewhere right next to the city in the dusk outside the window.
How strange it is that some people are alive but have aged out, while others are already dead.

It's not as if I got drunk on just one short cocktail.
