The spirits of grasses and trees

(続き)

This cemetery is surrounded by an otherworldly atmosphere.
An almost empty space lined with trees.
Various grasses that have grown on their own.
It reminded me of the word 'kodama', which is written as 'tree spirit'.
It is precisely in the various shades of green that there is a faint voice that one cannot help but pause and listen. More than the appearance of the mound, which is circular above and rectangular below, behind a no-entry fence.
If I lived in Fushimi, I would want to visit this place every day.
I would love to live under its heart-shaped leaves, which are hair-raising because of their smell, and look up at the white petal-like bracts.
