even at the end of a flower's life
(続き)
A while ago, I was photographing the sunrise and someone said to me, "The power lines are in the way, aren't they?"
I replied.
"No, it's not like that. I like it better when there are a lot of things in the picture."
Of course, places where I can feel the vastness of the sky also have their charms. The open coast to the west, on top of a mountain somewhere, or a place like Kusasenrigahama in Aso.
However, the presence of overhead wires also makes me feel connected to somewhere far away. I hate people and don't want to talk to anyone, but somewhere far away, I dream that my heart can reach them.
It is similar to staring at the end of a glowing railway line.
Most of the hydrangeas by the walkway have been cut back for next year, and the flowers have been dropped.
Even though I was taught that this would lead to next year's beauty, I couldn't bear to see the clumps of discarded flowers.
The flowers that have been left behind are also a sight to behold.
Even though I know that from here they will fade further and turn into a brown mass.
